- Frontend development with React, Typescript, NextJS, React Query, some full-stack work with Node and SQL.

Responsibilities:

- Leading the team through building and testing new features, maintenance, and support for our application.

- Mentoring junior developers on and outside of the team.

- Working closely with UX and agent managers to provide the best user experience for agents (our users), and implementing features based on agents’ feedback.

- Identifying and alleviating pain points during the development and testing process.

Achievements:

- Led the team to launch our key new internal application in time for busy season.

- Designed and transitioned the team onto a feature branch system to promote continuous delivery, improve debugging, and eliminate cherry-picking for releases.

Automation team (Mar 2021 - Dec 2021):

UI/UX Lead and middleware/backend/Dev Ops. React/Redux frontend hosted on AWS Amplify with AppSync API, Lambda, and DynamoDB. Scrum methodology.

Infrastructure team (Nov 2018 - Mar 2021): Support & operations using Dev Ops tools including Chef, Bamboo, and various AWS services. Kanban methodology.

Internship/Rotational Program (Sep 2017 - Nov 2018): Frontend React projects on 2 teams, then Dev Ops on 3rd team where I landed permanently.

Singlehandedly developed and maintained a webapp with over 11,000 users for 4 years using React, Redux, Materialize CSS, Node, PostgreSQL, Knex, Bookshelf. Implemented many user requests and general quality-of-life improvements.
